DOOR REMOVAL
Getting Through Narrow Spaces
If the refrigerator will not fit through an
entrance area, you can remove the doors.
Check first by measuring the entrance.
To prepare for removing the door(s):
1. Unplug the electrical power cord
from the wall outlet.
2. Remove any food from the shelves
and door bins and close the door.
To remove the refrigerator door(s):
1. Open the door(s) to 90°.
2. Trace lightly around the door’s top
hinges with a pencil. This makes
reinstallation easier.
2. With the doors closed, remove
the three 8 mm screws from the
top hinges. Leave the hinges
attached to the doors. Lift the doors
up o the center hinge pins, and
carefully set aside.
CAUTION
Place the doors aside in a secure
position where they cannot fall and
cause personal injury or damage to the
doors or handles.
Tools Necessary:
Phillips head/
flat head
Screwdriver or
T20 Torx driver

Wrench
Adjustable
Wrench

Fixed
Wrench

NOTE
* We do not recommend to using an
electric tool to unscrew and screw
parts because it may damage the screw
threads or cause screw heads to be
stripped o.
For the 3-door model only:
1. Remove the screw from the top
hinge cover, and disconnect the
electrical harness running from the
door to the hinge cover.
