13. Replace the lower hinge covers.
5. DOOR HANDLE INSTALLATION
CAUTION!
Wear gloves and safety goggles. Use
extreme caution when installing these
handles.
The rounded end of the handles may
be sharp (some models).
5.1 Metal handle
To attach the refrigerator/freezer metal
handle:
1. Open the door.
2. Place the rounded part of the handle
onto the shoulder screw on the face of
the door and align the 2 holes:
•
for the refrigerator: at the top of the
handle with the 2 holes at the top of
the door.
• for the freezer: at the bottom of the
handle with the 2 holes at the
bottom of the door.
Do not tighten the set screw yet.
3. Install the 2 screws into:
• the top of the refrigerator handle:

• the bottom of the freezer handle:

4. Tighten the set screw on the rounded
part of the handle until the handle is
flush with the door, then tighten
another 1/2 turn
For professional models:
With the door open, place the handle over
the shoulder screw. Tighten the set
screws.
5.2 Plastic handle
To attach the refrigerator/freezer plastic
handle:
