USING THE COOKTOP
In order to disable the timer on a cooking zone, select it, press the Timer key to enter the timer function then press
the [-] key until reaching position «00». Press the Timer key to conrm.
EGG TIMER/REMINDER
When no cooking zone is active it is possible to set an acoustic reminder which stays active after switching the
appliance o. When the Egg timer/Reminder function is active, the Timer function cannot be selected. To enable this
function press the Timer key.
The timer display shows the default value «10» (10 minutes), the number «1» is ashing.
Adjust the dozens value within 6 seconds using the [+] and [-] keys. Press the Timer key to conrm the settings. The
display now shows a ashing «0», press the keys [+] and [-] keys within 6 seconds to adjust the units value. Press the
Timer key to conrm or wait 6 seconds for the automatic conrmation.
The time countdown starts and it is shown on the timer display. An acoustic signal will indicate the timer expiration,
press any of the keys to stop the signal.
In order to disable the Egg Timer bring the time value back to «00».
CONTROL PANEL LOCK «Lo»
It is possible to block the controls to prevent the risk of unintentional modication of the settings (children, cleaning
etc.).
Press the Lock key to activate the function, the symbol «Lo» will appear on the displays. To release the controls and
change the settings (e.g.interrupt cooking), the Lock key must be pressed again. The appliance can however be
switched o even when the controls block is activated. In this case the controls block remains active when the top is
switched on again.
SWITCHING A COOKING ZONE OFF
To switch a cooking zone o, press simultaneously the Zone [+] and [-] key of the desired zone, or press the Zone [-]
key until reaching position «0».
SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE OFF
To turn o the cooking top entirely hold down the On-O key.
SAFETY SWITCH
The appliance has a safety switch that automatically
switches o the cooking zones when they have been
operating for a certain amount of time at a given
power level.
