How to replace the lter cartridge
Important: The disposable lter cartridge must be replaced every
12 months, at the rated capacity or sooner if a noticeable reduction in ow
rate occurs.
Note: The system is equipped with an internal by-pass valve.

Turn cartridge slowly to the left, about 1/4 turn, until it stops. At this
position, both inlet and outlet ports are closed and water pressure has
been relieved.

Pull used cartridge straight down and discard.
Note: There may be a small amount of residual water drainage after
pressure is relieved and during cartridge removal.

Make sure the o-rings are positioned correctly in grooves. Moisten the
o-rings with water. Push new cartridge into filter head. Turn cartridge
1/4 turn to the right until it stops. Top surface of cartridge will become
flush with bottom of the head when fully engaged.

Open faucet or down stream valve (if installed) and flush new filter
cartridge for two minutes, expelling any trapped air and carbon fines.
Water may run cloudy with air but will quickly clear.

Periodic checks

Check connection and shower hoses periodically for the following:
– Watertightness
– Corrosion
– Mechanical damage
X
Use original spare parts only.
X
Replace damp or dripping hoses.
X
Replace hoses with rusty or oxidized surfaces.
X
Replace hoses that show signs of mechanical damage.
Replacement of the exibles
X
Don‘t use a wrench or other items to mount the flexibles on the tap side.
X
Mount these only by hand.
