2 Camera Overview
The Quasar Premium Hemispheric Mini-Dome with Edge AI Video Analytics Camera provides 12MP real-
time video, up to 25 / 30 frames per second (fps). It features line-level audio in / out; digital alarm I/O; and
infrared (IR) illumination.
The camera's onboard artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced video analytics (VA) provide rules for abandoned
objects, intrusion detection, camera sabotage, tripwire detection, loitering detection, object counting, object
removal, and stopped vehicles.
The camera supports up to three simultaneous video streams using H.265, H.264, or MJPEG
compression, providing an ideal solution when differing levels of image quality are required. The camera
can increase frame rate and level of detail when events are triggered. In addition, FLIR's adaptive
streaming algorithms provide the highest image quality with the lowest bandwidth and storage
requirements.
When the camera is connected to an IP network, it functions as a server, providing services such as
camera control, video streaming, and network communications.
