Clip is Unlocked –
Click the Lock icon to Lock it
Clip is Locked –
Click the Lock icon to Unlock it
Locking Clip Segments from the Timeline
This topic describes how to lock clip segments from the timeline.
Clip segments can be locked by marking them in the Timeline window and then Locking them.
Do the following:

Mark the start of the segment.
a. Position the mouse where the segment should start
OR
a. Position Timeline Cursor where the segment should
start, and click Mark in
b. Click-and-drag the mouse through the desired time in
the Timeline tracks
b. Move the Timeline Cursor to where the segment should
end, and click MarkOut
The system indicates the marked segment.
A mouse-over on the segment indicator indicates the segment exact start and end times.
