3.1.2 Digital PTZ Using the Mouse
While viewing any video (Live or Playback), the Control Center enables you to zoom into the
image to view more detail using the available mouse.
Follow these steps:
1. In the Control Center Navigation pane, left click the tile of the video you would like to zoom.
2. Place the mouse on the tile you wish to zoom, and click the mouse wheel once.
The cursor changes to an orange directional arrow, indicating that the Digital Zoom feature is
enabled.
3. Roll the wheel forward to zoom into the picture.
Digital Zoom Indication shows that Zoom is being used.
4. Once you have zoomed in, you can move the mouse up, down, left, right or diagonally, and a
corresponding arrow displays.
Click the mouse again and the picture moves in the direction of the arrow.
Roll the mouse wheel towards you to zoom out.
5. To return to normal viewing for the tile, right-click in the tile, and select Reset Digital zoom.
6. Click on the mouse wheel again to return the mouse to normal operation.
3.1.3 Draw-to-Zoom
For fixed cameras, a Magnify icon , enables the user to use the mouse to draw a rectangle
around the area to be zoomed-in and viewed.
