CARE AND CLEANING
Fan
z
Clean the fan every 3 months. It may need to be cleaned more frequently depending on
the cooking methods used and frequency of use.
z
Cleaning the fan will require two people to disassemble and reassemble the rangehood.
z
The fan should be removed and cleaned with hot soapy water.
z
Ensure that the clips on the fan blades are not moved or lost. This will imbalance the fan
and can cause increased noise and vibration.
z
After rinsing and drying, replace the fan and reassemble the rangehood parts.
Remove the oil receptacle.
If the upper chimney extension has been
used, unhook it from the chimney brackets
and slide it back down into the chimney.

Removing the fan
Twist ducting hose anti-clockwise to detach
from the check valve assembly.

Loosen the stopper screw and detach the
main unit from the wall bracket.
