CONVERTING HEATER FOR DIFFERENT ALTITUDES
Converting the heater to operate at altitudes between 2000 – 4500 ft (610 – 1370 m)
Before commencing the conversion, ensure that the heater is isolated from the gas and
electrical supply.

When installing Mounting Body Assembly,
make sure left hand and right hand Body
Assembly are level. If not, escaping
heat could easily cause damage to the
components inside the compartment.

When installing heater in the inverted
orientation, please contact Customer Care.
For special instructions, see part 242420.
Inverted installation to be performed by a
qualified technician.
Remove four screws from the front
service panel. Locate the factory fitted #30
orifice, in the orifice fitting, at the outlet
from the gas valve assembly.

Using a 7/16 AF spanner, remove the #30
orifice by rotating in an anti-clockwise
direction and replace with the #31
orifice provided.
