via the internally fused electrical outlet module.

The machine is only suitable for indoor use.

This machine is only intended for use in

commercial settings.

The user is liable for improper or non-

intended use.

6 Transport and storage

► Stow the mains power cable[1-9] wound up

in the Systainer lid.

► Always lock the T-LOC closure [1-7] on the

machine prior to transportation.

► Always transport an air purifier with a newly

inserted prefilter (see section8.2).

► If a suction hose has been in operation,

this may contain harmful dust. Storage and

transport of the suction hose in a container

or case intended for this.

7 Set-up/start-up

7.1 Setting up the device

Place the machine on an even surface, e.g. on

the floor, on a table or on a Systainer.

WARNING! Make sure not to stack the

Systainers with an air purifier too high, so as

to prevent the risk of tipping over.

CAUTION! Do not cover or block air inlets and

outlets. Adhere to a minimum distance from the

wall of80cm.

Unauthorised voltage or frequency.

Risk of accidents

► The mains voltage and the frequency of

the power source must correspond to the

specifications on the name plate.

► In North America, only Festool machines

with the voltage specifications 120V/ 60Hz

may be used.

7.2 Mains power cable [2]

► Open the Systainer lid[2-1].

► Lay the mains power cable in the cable

guide[2-2] and guide outwards.

► Close the Systainer lid.

► Insert the mains plug into an earthed

socket.

7.3 Switching on/off

The switch[1-1] serves as an on/off switch

(=ON, 0=OFF).

7.4 Power setting selection switch

The switch[1-3] is designed to regulate the

power.

All data regarding room volume and air

volume is based on power settingII.

The operating light[1-2] function only

shows the correct signal value (red) in

power settingII.

Always work with the air purifier in power

settingII to achieve the cleanest possible

air.

8 Settings

 

WARNING

Risk of injury, electric shock

► Always disconnect the mains plug from

the socket and remove the devices/power

tools from the electrical outlet module

before performing any work on the device.

8.1 Connecting power tools/ devices

Power tools or other devices can also be

connected to the electrical outlet module[1-4].

CAUTION! The specified permissible power

consumption must not be exceeded.
