9.3 Canada: RSS Compliance Statement

ter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation,
Science and Economic Development Canada’s
licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to

9.4 Canada: Radio frequency (RF)
Exposure Information
The radiated output power of the Wireless De
vice is below the Innovation, Science and Eco
nomic Development (ISED) radio frequency ex
posure limits. The Wireless Device should be
used in such a manner such that the potential
for human contact during normal operation is
minimized.
9.5 USA: ANSIS3.19-1974
The level of noise entering a person's ear,
when hearing protector is worn as directed,
is closely approximated by the difference be
tween the A-weighted environmental noise
level and the NRR.
– 1. The environmental noise level as meas
ured at the ear is 92dBA.
– 2. The NRR is 25 decibels (dB).
– 3. The level of noise entering the ear is ap
proximately equal to 67dB(A).
CAUTION: For noise environments dominated
by frequencies below 500Hz the C-weighted
environmental noise level should be used.
Although hearing protectors can be recom
mended for protection against the harmful ef
fects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction
Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of
continuous noise and may not be an accurate
indicator of the protection attainable against
impulsive noise such as gunfire.
Improper fit of this device will reduce its ef
fectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the
enclosed instructions for proper fit.
