7 Service and maintenance
Customer service and repairs must only

The hearing protection must be inspected at
regular intervals.
► The wearer should ensure that the hear
ing protection is fitted, adjusted and main
tained in accordance with the manufactur
er's instructions.
► Check the earpieces regularly for wear,
tears or other damage.
► Replace the earpieces if soiled or worn,
but after three months at the latest in any
event.
► Wipe down the earpieces with a clean,
damp cloth and a mild soap. Do not use
solvents.
► If the earpieces become damp due to
cleaning, rain or sweat, let them dry before
using again.
► The hearing protection should be stored in
a clean and dry location at between ‑20°C
(-4°F) and -50°C (122°F). The battery
should not be fully discharged before long-
term storage.
Service life of the device: 3years.
8 Environment
Do not dispose of the device in the
household waste! Recycle devices,
accessories and packaging. Observe
applicable national regulations.
Before disposal, users must remove dis
charged batteries, accumulators that are not
enclosed by the device and lights that can be
removed from the old device without causing
