Prior to operation

Put the inverted (i.e. with the operating unit facing
downwards) pedestal cooling fan [B] onto a soft sur-
face and hold firmly.
Fully unwind the power cord.
Put together both halves of the base foot [C] so
they fit exactly, and run the power cord through the
central hole.
Now put the base foot [C] precisely onto the housing
base of the cooling fan [B] and fasten with the
enclosed screws. The power cord must not be pinched
in the process.
Insert the power cord into the guide groove of the base
foot and run through the holders, see picture.
Turn the fan back over and put it down on the base foot.

WARNING!
Never use a defective appliance.
WARNING!
Prior to assembly, make sure that the mains
plug is unplugged. If the mains plug is
plugged in, the appliance could accidentally
be switched on, resulting in injuries.
