Unpacking
Unpack the appliance and check the contents for
completeness (see "scope of delivery").
If you notice any transportation damage, please con-
tact your dealer immediately.
Note!
Keep the packaging material for storage or transfer of
the appliance (e.g. changing household, service oper-
ations).
Warning!
Never use a faulty appliance.
1. Vacuum hose
Press the connecting piece at the end of the
vacuum hose into the air intake opening of the
vacuum cleaner. To remove it, press on both but-
tons [A] and release the latches.
Vacuum hose / telescopic tube
Insert the handle of the vacuum hose into the
telescopic tube. Rotate the tube in the handle
until a "click" is heard. The handle is set now. To
remove the handle, press [B] button, and pull the
handle out of telescopic tube.
Trend 2000: Insert the handle with a slight turn [E].
2. Nozzles / handle tube or telescopic tube
Insert the nozzle you require to the handle on the
vacuum hose or to the telescopic tube, and rotate
it until a slight "click" is heard. The nozzle is set
now. To remove the nozzle, press [B] button, and
remove the nozzle out of telescopic tube or the
handle.
Trend 2000: Insert the required nozzle with a
slight turn onto the handle of the suction hose, or
onto the telescopic suction tube (C).
3. Setting the length of the vacuum tube
Use your thumb to press the slider [D] in the di-
rection of the arrow. Pull or push the vacuum tube
to the required length.
Now the appliance is ready to use.
