OPERATION
The Soft Steam function
The appliance has the Soft Steam feature (
). Steam is produced at the beginning of
the baking process, which enhances some
of the dishes prepared in the oven. There is
a cavity in the bottom of the oven to be lled
with 150 ml of clean cold water before heat-
ing the oven. Do not add spices to the water.
When the appliance is on, touch to ac-
tive the Soft Steam function. When the oven
is preheated (after about 5 minutes), place
the dish inside the oven and close the door.
Note: Do not leave any water in the oven cavity.
When the oven has cooled down, soak up the
water with a cloth.
Make sure that the oven has cooled before
removing water.
Due to the presence of steam in the oven
cavity, water may condense on the inside of
the oven door and walls when baking. Wipe
o excess water each time after you have n-
ished cooking.
Pyrolytic cleaning
The pyrolytic cleaning function is a special
programme with additional requirements.
Touch to select the pyrolytic cleaning
and the display will show the Duration of
2:00 hours instead of the temperature indi-
cation. Touch / to adjust the Duration
to 2:30 or 3:00 hours. Touch to conrm
and the pyrolytic cleaning will start. The oven
door must be closed. When the pyrolytic
cleaning starts, the oven door is locked for
the duration of the cleaning programme and
until the oven cavity has cooled to a safe
temperature.
If the door is still open when you conrm the
duration of the pyrolytic cleaning, the door
lock symbol on the display will ash. If
you do not close the door within 10 seconds,
the pyrolytic cleaning will be aborted.
When you close the door, the pyrolytic
cleaning symbol comes on, the door is
locked and lighting is o.
Note.
Before using this function, read the chapter
on cleaning, in particular the basic informa-
tion on the pyrolytic cleaning.
• Temperature inside oven cavity can ex-
ceed 410°C – make sure that there are
no children near the appliance.
• 75 minutes before pyrolytic cleaning
completes, the heaters are disconnect-
ed, the temperature “---°C” is displayed
and the appliance stars cooling down.
• The door will be unlocked when the
temperature inside the oven cavity
cools down to 150°C (the door lock
symbol on the display will go out).
