What This Guide Covers
This user guide provides instructions for an experienced installer to install an Extron Network Button Panel (NBP).
This guide includes detailed information and recommends best practices for cabling the NBP. It provides a brief
overview of the conguration process, and reference information.
Congure the IP-related settings of the NBP using Toolbelt software. Then you can congure the control
processor and overall system using Extron Global Congurator Professional (GC Professional) or Global
Congurator Plus (GC Plus), or program them using Global Scripter or ControlScript programming software. The
system conguration includes button congurations for the NBPs.
This guide does not contain instructions on detailed software-related setup steps or details of conguration within
the software. Those are covered in the help les for each software package or scripting program. The software
help les describe how to use each program to download drivers, add AV devices to a conguration, congure
basic functions, and set up schedules, macros, e-mail alerts, button congurations, and the like.

• Workspace automation controllers
• Meeting space collaboration systems
In this guide, those devices are referred to as “control processors.”

160, WC Pro 150 OCS, HD CTL 100, and others
