Audio Wiring
Wire the audio input and output connectors as shown below right. Use the supplied tie wrap to strap the audio cable to the
extended tail of the connector.
ATTENTION:
• For unbalanced outputs, do not connect
wires to the “-” poles.

NOTE: The length of exposed wires is
important. The ideal length is 3/16 inch
(5 mm).

USB configuration port — Connect a host device to this USB-C port for device configuration via PCS, control, file transfer
(user logos, audio files, and so on), and firmware updates.
NOTE: The CONFIG port supports TCP/IP connections with a xed IP address of 203.0.113.22.

Input selection buttons and LEDs (1-4) — Press one of these buttons to select an input. Each button has a green LED that
lights when the input is selected.

SIGNAL (input) LEDs — The green LED for each input lights when an active video signal is detected, regardless of which
input is currently selected.
D
STATUS LEDs — These green LEDs light to indicate the state of their corresponding settings:
• HDCP IN — Lights if the currently selected input video signal is encrypted.
• HDCP OUT 1A , 1B, and 1C — Light if the current output video signal is encrypted. These LEDs blink if the output sync is
muted. HDCP OUT 1C is on only the DO and DI/DO models.
• AUTO SW — Lights if the unit is in an auto-switch mode. This LED is on only the IN2004 standard model.

MENU and ENTER buttons — Press these buttons to access and navigate the on-screen display menu system.

Navigation buttons — Use these Right, Left, Up, and Down arrow buttons as follows:
• Press these buttons to navigate through the on-screen (OSD) menu system or change settings.
• Press and hold the Down arrow button for 5 seconds while the OSD is not in use to switch the output rate between 1080p
@ 60 Hz and 4K @ 60 Hz. Continued pressing of the Down arrow for an additional 5 seconds changes the output rate
back to the previous one (see the table below). This can be useful for troubleshooting if the output display shows no video.

NOTE: This feature is not available when the unit is in front panel lock mode or when the OSD is in use.
When the down arrow has been pressed for the required duration of time, triggering an output resolution change,
the front panel LED columns (SIGNAL and STATUS) blink twice all together.
