The EX-1339HMVS USB 2.0 to RS-232/422/485 converter in metal housing provides eight serial
RS-232, 422, or 485 high performance UART 16C550 interfaces with 15KV ESD surge protection
and 2.5KV isolation. It is designed to connect serial devices to the terminal blocks via the USB 2.0
to 3.2 Gen 2 bus of a PC, server or workstation. The EX-K1542V cable supplied can be attached
to the EX-1339HMVS with knurled screws without the need for a screwdriver. It is therefore no
longer possible to disconnect the cable yourself. Thanks to the simple installation on the USB port,
the computer does not need to be opened and the converter can be installed while the computer is
running. The scope of delivery includes a Din-Rail Kit (EX-6099), which allows the converter to be
installed on a mounting rail in a 19” rack. The EX-1339HMVS can be extended by 14 modules.
This allows you to connect up to 112 serial ports to your computer system. In addition, the EX-
1339HMVS is equipped with 15KV ESD overvoltage protection.
