13 Daily use
This chapter explains how to operate the appliance so that you can use all functions and
programmes effectively.
13.1 Programme selection
Select the appropriate programme according to the type, quantity and degree of soiling
of the laundry to be washed:

TEMPERATURE
POLLUTION LEVEL
90 °C
Heavily soiled boil wash white, cotton or linen
(e.g. cloths, bed linen, aprons)
60 °C
Moderately soiled coloured laundry, synthetics
(e.g. pyjamas)
Lightly soiled boil wash
(e.g. underwear)
40 °C, 30 °C, Cold
Lightly to normally soiled coloureds, synthetics, wool.
It is recommended to wash wool cold or at 30 °C.
Turn on the water connection before starting the appliance.
While the washing programme is active, there is no possibility to
select an additional function.
Start programme
1. Place textiles in the drum.
2. Close the door.
3. Add detergent to the main wash chamber.
4. Select the washing programme with the PROGRAMME SELECTOR (2)
5. To start the washing programme, press START/PAUSE (e).
The remaining wash time is displayed on the screen.
After the programme has elapsed, a signal sounds.
Start time delay
Select this function to start the washing programme at a later time.
Activate
1. Select the washing programme with the PROGRAMME SELECTOR (2).
2. Press the START TIME DELAY button (d). Press 1x = 1 h; start time delay adjusta-
ble up to 24 h.
3. Press the START/PAUSE (e) key.
Washing programme with start time delay is activated.
Cancel
To cancel the start time delay, switch the appliance off and on again.
When the start time delay is activated, the drum can be accessed
during the phase before the start of the wash cycle.
