12 Assembly and installation
Unpack the unit
The packaging must be undamaged. Check the unit for transport damage. Do
not connect a damaged unit under any circumstances. In case of damage,
contact the supplier.
WARNING
DANGER OF SUFFOCATION!
Packaging parts (e.g. foils, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children. Keep
packaging material away from children!
Remove transport protection
The unit and parts of the interior fittings are protected for transport. Remove all
adhesive tapes and transport bolts.
ATTENTION
SURFACE!
There is a risk that the washing machine will fall off the plinth during spinning.
When placing the washing machine on an existing plinth (concrete plinth or brick
plinth), secure the washing machine by tightening straps.
1. Loosen the four transport bolts with the spanner.
Do not dismantle the fixed device of the drain pipe (see fig.).
2. Turn the bolt rubber slightly and then pull it out.
3. Seal the screw holes with the supplied bolt caps.
Non-disassembled transport bolts cause violent vibrations and
noise.
Keep the transport lock for further transport of the unit.
