Cleaning the fluff filter
1. Allow the appliance to cool down.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Pull the fluff filter upwards and remove it.
4. Clean the fluff filter. Wipe off the accumulated threads.
5. Dry the filter thoroughly.
6. Replace the fluff filter in its intended position in the appliance
door.
Ø The fluff accumulated on the filter blocks the air circulation and causes
the drying time to be extended and increases energy consumption.
Ø Clean the fluff filter after every use.
Ø Never operate the appliance without a fluff filter!
Ø Throw the fluff in the rubbish bin and do not let it go down the drain to
avoid spreading microplastics in the sewage system.
Reasons for overheating
1. The fluff filter is blocked. Clean the fluff filter after every drying process.
2. Ventilation openings on the back of the appliance are blocked. Observe the specified
clearances (see chapter Setting “up the appliance).
3. The installation room is poorly ventilated. Ventilate the installation room during the drying
process.
4. Light items of laundry, e.g. a handkerchief, are sucked in by the filter. Place the laundry
item back in the drum.
Cleaning the condensation water tank
• Do not start the appliance without the condensation container.
• Contaminated condensation water can cause damage to health
and property.
• Condensation water is not drinking water and may be
contaminated with fluff. Do not drink or reuse.
• Push the condensation container back into the dryer until you
feel it click into place.
Ø When the condensation container is full, the symbol appears on the
display. When the condensation container is empty, press the Start/Pause
button and the symbol disappears from the display.
