11.6 Energy saving tips
• Spin the laundry before drying. Drier laundry shortens the drying time and reduces
energy consumption.
• The ECO Cotton programme is the most efficient programme in terms of energy
consumption for drying wet cotton laundry
• Load the appliance with the maximum specified load quantities.
• Filling the household tumble dryer up to the maximum capacity specified for the
respective programmes can save energy.
• Ventilate the room and keep the air inlet on the appliance clear to ensure air
exchange.
Clean the fluff filter after each drying filter. A contaminated fluff filter extends the drying time and
increases energy consumption.
