Ø Failure to observe the minimum distances increases power
consumption.
Ø If the accumulated heat cannot dissipate around the appliance, the
function of the appliance will be impaired.
Ø To achieve the specified energy class, comply with the above
mentioned clearances.
Ø Do not install refrigerator/freezer combinations with only one
temperature regulator in refrigerated rooms below 16 °C
10.3 Levelling
If the surface is slightly uneven, level the appliance with the
front feet.
11 Putting into operation
Clean the appliance and the interior parts thoroughly before putting into operation
(see chapter 12).
11.1 Connecting the device electrically
1. Connect the device to the power supply.
2. Check that the mains plug is secure. Electrical connection, see rating plate.
Switch off the appliance
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
à The appliance is switched off and no longer cools.
11.2 Setting the temperature
• The temperature depends on certain factors, such as the place of installation, how
often the appliance door is opened and closed or how the appliance is loaded.
• With very high summer temperatures, set the temperature regulator to a higher
level to maintain the desired cooling temperature.
• For optimum energy consumption, leave the glass shelves/drawers in the appliance
as shown (see Fig. Locating the coldest position in the refrigerating compartment)
