10.4 Residual risks
DANGER
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
• Never hold the mains plug of the mains cable with damp or wet hands when plugging in or
unplugging the appliance.
• In an emergency, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket immediately.
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before starting cleaning or service work.
• A damaged power supply cable must be replaced by the supplier, dealer or After Sales
Service without delay. If cable or mains plug are damaged, do not use the appliance any
longer.
• Do not carry out any work on the appliance other than the cleaning and service work
described in this instruction manual.
10.5 General safety instructions
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket or switch off the power supply before starting
cleaning or service work.
• A damaged power supply cable must be replaced by the supplier, dealer or after-sales
service without delay. If cable or plug are damaged, do not use the appliance any longer.
• Do not carry out any work on the appliance other than the cleaning and service work
described in these operating instructions.
• Never leave the Washing machine switched on unnecessarily.
• Close the water tap when the appliance is not in use.
• Clean the outside of the Washing machine with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners.
• The appliance lid is equipped with an automatic locking system. The appliance lid can only
be opened approx. 2-3 minutes after the end of the washing process.
• If necessary, the mains cable can be replaced by the customer service.
• Do not reach into the rotating drum. Risk of injury!
• Do not place heavy objects or heat sources on the top plate of the appliance to avoid
deformation of the top plate.
• Do not climb onto the washing machine.
