Manual defrosting in the refrigerating compartment
After prolonged operation, a frost or ice layer may form in the appliance compartment.
An excessive frost or ice layer increases the energy consumption. Defrost and clean the
appliance.
1. Remove the goods. Store everything covered and in a cool place.
2. To clean the glass shelves, lift them slightly upwards and pull them out until they
can be pivoted up or down and removed.
3. Push up and remove the door compartments.
4. Empty and clean the drip tray.
5. Clean the appliance, including the door seal and interior parts, using a cloth and
lukewarm water with a little household detergent.
6. Rinse with clear water and wipe dry.
7. Install the cleaned glass shelves, door compartments, drawers, etc. again.
8. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply and switch it on.
12.4 Lamp (LED)
The appliance is equipped with maintenance-free LED lighting.

Sales Service.
12.5 Decommissioning the appliance
ü To switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug or switch off and unscrew the
fuse.
ü Remove the food.
ü Remove the mains plug or switch off and unscrew the fuse.
ü Defrost the appliance and clean thoroughly (see chapter 12).
ü Leave the appliance door open to prevent odour and mould formation.
