WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
Have repairs to electrical appliances carried out only by a qualified electrician. An
incorrectly performed repair can pose dangers for the user and lead to a voiding of

Check whether the mains plug is
correctly plugged in to the plug
socket.
Oil leak
The non-return valve and
outlet are not tightly sealed.
Remove the non-return valve and
seal with sealing compound.
Leak in the connection
between chimney and cover
Remove the chimney and repair the
leak.
Light is not
working.
Lamp is defective.
Replacing the lamp
Appliance is not
working.
Plug is not plugged in to the
plug socket.
Connect the appliance to the mains
power supply.
Check whether the mains plug is
correctly plugged in to the plug
socket.
Power failure
Check whether the power supply is
still functioning and that the fuses
are intact.
The appliance is
running, but the
kitchen odours
remain.
In air recirculating air mode:
Activated charcoal filter is
dirty.
Clean or replace the activated
charcoal filter (see chapter 4.3).
In air extraction mode:
Check the exhaust air hose.
Every bend decreases the extraction
performance.
Distance between extractor
bonnet and gas hob is too
great.
Position the device at the correct
distance.
Device is tilted.
Fastening screws not
tightened firmly enough.
Tighten the fixing screws and align
the appliance horizontally.
