11 Putting into operation
Clean the appliance and the interior parts thoroughly before putting into operation (see
chapter Service and Maintenance).
11.1 Connecting the appliance electrically
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Check that the mains plug is firmly seated. Electrical connection, see type plate.
Switch on the appliance Using for the first time
Ø During initial operation, all LED indicators and the digital display light up.
Ø After 2 seconds, the appliance switches to the normal view.
Ø If no setting is made within 3 minutes, the display switches off.
11.2 Set temperature
• The temperature depends on certain factors, such as the place of installation, how
often the appliance door is opened and closed or how the appliance is loaded.
• With very high summer temperatures, set the temperature regulator to a higher
level to maintain the desired cooling temperature.
• For optimum energy consumption, leave the glass shelves/drawers in the
appliance as shown (see Fig. Locating the coldest position in the refrigerating
compartment)
Adjustable temperature ranges
Cooling temperature 8℃~2℃
Freezing temperature -12℃~ -24℃"
Activate the display
1. Press any button and then hold for 3 seconds.
à All buttons are active.
à The +/-buttons flash when the display is active.
2. Set the desiredtemperature by selecting the +/- buttons.
3. Press the + button once.
à 2°C is displayed.
4. Press the - button once.
à -12°C is displayed.
• Refrigerator mode is active between 8℃~2℃
• The freezing mode is active between -12℃~-24℃
Super Freeze
Freezing temperature automatically drops to the coldest
temperature. Freshly stored frozen food freezes through more
quickly.
1. Press the button + for 3 seconds.
à -32°C is displayed. After 72 hours, the function switches
off automatically.
2. To deactivate manually press button + for 3 seconds.
à The appliance returns to the previous temperature
setting.
Ø If the temperature is set below 0°C before quick freezing, the
temperature switches to the preset temperature after the quick
freezing function has ended.
