15.3 Rinsing agent
The rinsing agent prevents water droplets from forming on the dishes, which can leave
stains and streaks. The rinsing agent accelerates the drying process.
Filling/topping up rinsing agent
Add/refill rinsing agent when the rinsing agent indicator on the control panel lights
up.
When using multi-tab detergent that already contains rinsing agent, ignore the indicator.
Ø Immediately wipe up spilled rinsing agent with an absorbent cloth.
Ø Never pour in other substances (e.g. dishwasher detergent,
dishwashing liquid) together with the rinsing agent.
Setting the rinsing agent consumption
To adjust the factory-set dosage, carry out the following steps.
1. Close the door and switch on the appliance.
2. Press and hold the programme button for slightly longer than 5 seconds within 60
seconds of switching on the appliance.
3. Press the button “Start time delay”.
à Rinse aid indicator symbol flashes.
à The display shows the saved water hardness.
4. Use the programme button to select the desired rinse aid consumption setting
D3>D4>D5>D1>D2>D3.
The higher the number, the more rinse aid the appliance uses.
5. To save the selected water hardness, do not operate the appliance for 5 seconds
or press the ‘On/Off’ button
We recommend that you do not change the factory settings initially.
15.4 Dishwasher detergent
When selecting a dishwasher detergent, follow the instructions of the respective
manufacturer.
ü Use only detergents for household dishwasher.
ü When dosing the detergent, follow the instructions on the detergent package.
ü Fill the dishwasher detergent (powder or tab) into the chambers of the detergent
container.
ü Do not put detergent tab in the cutlery basket.
ü Use only powder detergent for “short washing programmes”.
ü Follow the dosage recommendations in the programme table.
