TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The appliance will not switch on • No power.
• Not connected to the power supply.
• The internal safety mechanism has
been triggered.
• Wait and plug it into the power
supply
• Wait for 30 minutes and if the
problem continues, contact your
repair centre.
The appliance is will only operate for
a few seconds.
• There are kinks in the air outlet
tube.
• Something is preventing air from
beingexpelled.
• Place the tube correctly so that it is
as short as possible and does not
have any kinks in it.
• Check and remove any object that
may be blocking the air evacuation
outlet.
The appliance is working but is not
cooling the room down
• Windows, doors and/or curtains
have been left open.
• Close the doors, windows and
curtains; reread the “Advice for
correctusage”section.
• There are heat sources in the room
(oven,hairdryer…).
• Remove any heat sources.
• The air outlet tube has been
detached from the appliance.
• Replace the tube into the section on
the back of the appliance.
• The appliance’s technical data is
insucientfortheroomithasbeen
placed in.
• Move the appliance.
When I am using the appliance, there
is an unpleasant smell in the room

The appliance will not start up
again for three minutes after being
switched off
• The security mechanism on the
internal compressor prevents the
appliance from starting up again
until three minutes have elapsed
from the time the appliance was
switched off.
