FOLDING UP YOUR PLAYARD

ATTACHING BASSINET
Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
FALL HAZARD - To help prevent falls, do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands
and knees or has reached 15lbs.(6.8kg), whichever comes first.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD -
INFANTS HAVE SUFFOCATED:
• In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet, and
• On soft bedding
Use only the pad provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for
padding.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their back to sleep,
unless otherwise advised by your physician.
IF A SHEET IS USED with the pad, use only the one provided by Evenflo or one specifically designed to fit the
dimension of thebassinet mattress.
STRINGS CAN CAUSE STRANGULATION! Never place items with a string around a child’s neck such as
hood strings or pacifier cords. Never suspend strings over product or attach strings to toys.
USE bassinet with only one child at a time.
NEVER place the child under bassinet. ALWAYS keep objects out of child’s reach.
WHEN bassinet is used for sleeping, you must still provide the supervision necessary for continued safety of
your child.
NEVER leave bassinet in place when child is in play yard.
The bassinet MUST be completely assembled, including 4 tubes, 16 clips and the mattress pad before using.
When using the bassinet, make sure the hook and loop patches underneath the mattress firmly attach to the
bassinet.
DO NOT modify or add any accessories that did not come with your product.
DO NOT store bassinet in play yard while in use.
TO HELP PREVENT heat build up inside the play yard and to avoid overheating your child, when using the
bassinet, DO NOT use an outdoor canopy.
DO NOT use bassinet with any other manufacturers play yards.
DO NOT move or carry the bassinet with the child in it. Child could be injured.
ALWAYS keep objects out of child’s reach.
WHEN ATTACHING THE SLEEPER TO THE BASSINET, always rotate hooks up to attach the sleeper legs to
the bassinet. Refer to instructions for assembly steps.
TO PREVENT INJURY, when the sleeper is removed from the bassinet, always store the hooks.
