Troubleshooting

If your air humidifier is not working properly, check for the following issues:

Problem:

Possible cause:

Solution:

The device does not work

 Control button at OFF

 No electricity

 Is the water tank

sufficiently full and

does the main housing

fit the bottom housing

correctly?

 Switch On

 Plug in socket

 Is the fuse/earth

leakage circuit breaker

engaged

 Fill the water tank and

place the main housing

correctly onto the

bottom housing.

 No power failure?

The device is giving an

unpleasant odour

 Dirty water or water

that has been in the

device to long

 Replace the water and

clean the tank

The humidity level does

not or hardly change

 Vaporisation element is

installed incorrectly.

 Vaporisation element is

dirty.

 Too much ventilation in

the room

 The room is too large

for the apparatus.

 Install the vaporisation

element correctly.

 Clean or replace the

vaporisation element.

 Compare the

dimensions of the room

with the recommended

dimensions.
