Please read the chapter ‘Before first use’ very carefully before you start cooking.
This prevents incorrect use of the hob.
Switching on and power setting
Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.
1. Place a pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
2. Touch the on/off key until you hear an audio signal.
▷ On all displays ‘-’ or ‘--’ appears.
3. Touch within 60 seconds a cooking zone selection key.
▷ Power level ‘5’ starts blinking in the display of the respective cooking zone.
4. While the power level is blinking, use the minus (-) key or the plus (+) key to set the desired
level.
▷ The cooking zone starts automatically at the level that has been set.
Select the cooking zone by touching the cooking zone selection key; the power level
flashes. As long as the power flashes, the cooking zone is selected. The power can be
adapted or a timer can be connected to it.
The hob switches off if no setting is made or a function is selected within 1 minute.
Boost function
You can use the boost function to cook for max. 5 minutes at the highest cooking level.
1. Select the cooking zone by touching the cooking zone selection key.
2. Touch the boost key to select the boost function.
▷ ‘P’ appears in the display of the corresponding cooking zone.
▷ After 5 minutes the power is reduced to the original setting.
▷ If the original setting equals 0, the power is reduced to setting 9.
Select the cooking zone and touch the boost key to stop the boost function prematurely.
The power is reduced to the original setting.
Select the cooking zone and simultaneously touch the minus (-) key and the plus (+) key
to immediately set the power to ‘0’.
