OPERATION OF THE EXTRACTOR UNIT
Boost
You can use the boost function to extract for max. 5 minutes at the highest level. After the
maximum boost time the extractor unit switches back to the previous power level.
1. Touch the extraction key.
▷ The display of the extractor unit lights up.
2. Touch and slide your finger along the slide control (over level 4) and activate boost.
▷ The extractor unit switches on.
▷ ‘P’ shows on the display.
Saturation of the grease filter and odour filter
When it is necessary to perform maintenance of the grease filter, the filter symbol is illuminated
(see ‘Maintenance/Cleaning the grid and filters).
When it is necessary to perform maintenance of the odour filter, the filter symbol is blinking
(see ‘Maintenance/Cleaning the grid and filters).
By default the filter saturation indication is deactivated.
Activation of the odour filter saturation indication
1. Switch on the hob.
2. With the extraction motor off and cooking zones off; touch the extraction key.
3. Touch and hold the ‘activation filter saturation key’ (Hood) until ‘F’ and ‘G’ are alternately
flashing in the display.
4. Touch the extraction key when ‘F’ shows on the display.
5. Touch the ‘reset filter saturation key’ (Filter).
▷ ‘Filter’ is flashing.
6. Touch and hold the ‘activation filter saturation key’ (Hood) again to confirm the activation of
the odour filter saturation indication.
▷ Now, when the symbol is iluminated, it is necessary to perform maintenance of the
odour filter.
