CHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR
Turn the vacuum cleaner off prior to charging! According to Fig. 1, place the vacuum
cleaner on the charging stand and connect the adapter to the power supply. The standard
charging time is approx. 5 hours. The status and progress of charging is indicated by
indicator A2. A fully charged accumulator provides operating time of approx. 15/20 minutes
(ETA1423/ETA3423)
.

5x red ashing Connected to the power supply.
Lit in red Accumulator is charging.
Lit in green Accumulator is charged.
Warning
– Do not exceed the specified time of charging! As soon as the indicator is lit in green,
disconnect the adapter from the power supply.
– When charging the accumulator for the first time or after a long period of storage, it will
be charged to approx. 60% of its capacity. The accumulator charges to 100% after it is
discharged and then charged again.

When using the vacuum cleaner for an extended period of time or in a hot environment, the
accumulator might be too hot for charging. Let the accumulator cool down prior to charging.
INSTALLING THE CHARGING STAND ON THE WALL
To install the charging stand D on the wall, use the holes D2 on its back. Mount the charging
stand D on the wall using a suitable connecting material.
Warning
– Make sure that the electric socket is sufficiently close to the mounted stand.
– Check that there is no electrical, telephone, water or other similar installation in
the wall at the place of the mounting of the stand.
IV. USE OF VACUUM CLEANER
Let the vacuum cleaner charge sufficiently prior to using.

V. REMOVING THE DUST CONTAINER AND FILTER
Warning
– The maximum suction effect can only be achieved with a clean HEPA filter and an
empty dust container.
–
We recommend cleaning the HEPA filter each time when the dust container is emptied.
– When vacuuming very fine dust, the HEPA filter pores may become clogged, which
reduces air permeability and the suction performance. In this case, it is required to
clean the HEPA filter even when the tank is not full.
