III. VACUUM CLEANER PREPARATION
Remove all packing material, take out the vacuum cleaner and the accessories.
Remove all possible adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance.
VACUUM CLEANER ASSEMBLY
When assembling the vacuum cleaner, follow the procedure indicated in Fig. 1. Select
appropriate accessories (Fig. 6) depending on the required use (stick vacuum cleaner / hand
vacuum cleaner). For disassembly, proceed the other way round and release the locks.
CHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR
Turn the vacuum cleaner off prior to charging! Connect the adaptor to the charging
connector H1 and plug it to the mains. The battery can also be charged with the battery
removed (Fig. 5). The accumulator has to be charged at least for 6 hours prior to the
first use. After that, the standard charging time is approx. 4.5 hours. Charging status
and progress are indicated on the A3 LED display (showing the battery charge level in %)
or by the H4 light when the battery is removed (flashing = charging; steady light = battery is
charged).
