IV. MAINTENANCE (FIG. 4)
The appliance must be cleaned after every use! Only wipe Charging
base und USB cable (when disconnected from the electrical AC adapter)
with a soft damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive or aggressive cleaning
agents! For hygienic reasons, clean the appliance body thoroughly.
However do not use any aggressive cleaning agents (agents with
alcohol, thinners, etc.) or any agents based on clay, silicone or abrasive
grainy agents. Clean the appliance surface (especially the silicone
bristles) with a ne brush and soapy water, and then rinse under clear
running water. Before storing the appliance, let it properly dry out. Store
the brush, Charging base und USB cable at a safe, dry and dust-fee
place, out of reach of children and incapacitated persons.
V. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for production
of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on
all parts. The symbols specied on the product or in the accompanying
documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must
not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal,
hand them over at special collection places where they will be accepted
free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain
valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts
on the environment and human health, which could be the possible
consequences of improper waste disposal. Ask for more details at the
local authorities or at a collection site. Fines can be imposed for improper
disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations.
Dispose of the battery safely by means of collection networks intended for
this purpose. Never dispose of the batteries by burning!
Taking out the battery
Only take out the battery from the appliance after it is fully discharged
(i.e. let the appliance in operation until its motor stops), and after the end
of the appliance’s service life! The battery should not be removed and is
not accessible during normal operation! First you have to “take o“ the
protective sleeve, and then to unscrew/remove the cover, disconnect the
battery, and then take the battery out. To take o the sleeve, rst cut it
partially with a knife. However pay attention to prevent any cut injury.
