– Concentrating nozzle B2 may be used:
a) Separately for steam nozzle A3
b) With the attached accessories B4/B5 for steam nozzle A3
c) Separately, put on the extension hose B1
d) With the accessories B4/B5 attached to the extension hose B1
– The flat spraying jet may be separately used on steam nozzle A3, attached to the
extension hose B1, or with the accessories B3a / B3b put on.
How to assemble the accessories
Extension hose B1, concentrating nozzle B2 and flat spraying nozzle B3
All 3 adaptors can be mounted on the steam nozzle A3 (or nozzle B2/B3 on hose B1)
by putting it on and securing it by clockwise rotation (see Fig. 2). Apply a reverse
procedure to remove.
Accessories B4/B5
They can be simply mounted on the extension hose B1, concentrating nozzle B2, or steam
nozzle A3 by putting them on. Apply a reverse procedure to remove.
Squeegee for windows and flat surfaces B3a, and textile sleeve B3b
Put the squeegee B3a on the flat spraying nozzle B3 according to Fig. 3A, hooking the
squeegee bottom hooks in the bottom lugs of the flat jet, and secure in place. To remove
the squeegee, you have to move aside the protrusion on its top side, and remove the
adaptor by tilting it out. Fix the textile sleeve to the flat nozzle be putting it on (Fig. 3B).
Water filling/adding
When filling the water before use, make sure that the appliance is not connected to the
mains. Unscrew the safety pressure valve A2 by rotating it anti-clockwise. Carefully fill the
inside tank with water, using the attached water filling container C and funnel D. Do not
exceed the maximum permitted volume of water (i.e. 250 ml). Apply reverse procedure to
properly screw the safety pressure valve A2 in, and tighten it using a reasonable force.
If you want to add water during operation, it is necessary to eliminate the internal
pressure in the water tank first. Disconnect the power cord from the mains and release
the residual pressure, until the steam stops coming out. Let the appliance cool down for
at least 5 minutes, and then unscrew the safety pressure valve. Pour water in the open
appliance, and screw the valve in place.
Attention
– Release of the excessive pressure and the appliance cool down are important steps,
because the pressure and the temperature in the tank are high also after disconnecting
the appliance from the mains. This means if you pour cold water inside the hot tank
immediately after opening it, there is a risk of scalding from evaporation of the added
water.
