III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all packaging materials and take out the appliance and the accessories.
Remove all adhesive foils, stickers and papers (fig.4).
Accessory Assembly Options
The steam cleaner can be used in several assembly configurations, as shown in Figure 1,
with the following conditions:
1) Only the extension hose B1 and nozzle B2 can be connected directly to the steam
nozzle A3.
2) Accessories B3a-B4-B5-B6 can only be attached to the extension hose B1 or nozzle B2.
3) The squeegee B3a can be used either alone or with the attached sleeve B3b.
Assembling the accessories is intuitive, follow the steps in Figures 2 and 3. After assembly,
ensure that the attachment is securely fastened and will not come loose during use.
Water filling/adding
When filling the water before use, make sure that the appliance is not connected to the
mains. Unscrew the safety pressure valve A2 by rotating it anti-clockwise. Carefully fill the
inside tank with water, using the attached water filling container C and funnel D. Do not
exceed the maximum permitted volume of water (i.e. 250 ml). Apply reverse procedure to
properly screw the safety pressure valve A2 in, and tighten it using a reasonable force.
If you want to add water during operation, it is necessary to eliminate the internal pressure
in the water tank first. Disconnect the power cord from the mains and release the residual
pressure, until the steam stops coming out. Let the appliance cool down for at least 5
minutes, and then unscrew the safety pressure valve. Pour water in the open appliance,
and screw the valve in place.
Attention
• Release of the excessive pressure and the appliance cool down are important steps,
because the pressure and the temperature in the tank are high also after disconnecting the
appliance from the mains. This means if you pour cold water inside the hot tank immediately
after opening it, there is a risk of scalding from evaporation of the added water.
IV. STEAM CLEANER USE
The appliance becomes active and starts heating the water in the tank once you connect it
to the mains. Connection to the mains is indicated by the red operation indicator light A4.
Steam will be ready for cleaning in about 2-3 minutes. The ready appliance is indicated by
a green light.
To activate the steam, you must press the steam release button A1. At the same time, it
is necessary to unlock the unintended activation safety lock A8 to the ON position. This
safety lock automatically returns to the OFF position, so it must be held when releasing
steam.
