WARNING! The temperature of accessible surfaces (door and exterior surface)
can be high when the appliance is in operation or shortly after use.
This logo means that the part where it is affixed can become very hot during
operation of the appliance.
Setting the 24-hour clock
The 24-hour clock must be set for the microwave oven to work. If it is not, it will not work
even if the microwave oven is powered on.
1. Plug the microwave oven into an earthed wall socket. The display turns on, 0:00 appears
and a beep sounds.
2. Press the Clock/Timer button. The hour setting flashes.

3. Rotate the -/+ knob to select the hour.
4. Press the Clock/Timer button to confirm. The minute setting flashes.
5. Rotate the -/+ knob to select the minutes.

• During the clock setting procedure, pressing the Stop/Cancel button will take you back to
the main screen.
• After unplugging the microwave oven, you must reset the clock when it is next plugged in.
Standby mode
When the microwave oven if first plugged in, it enters standby mode. During operation,
if no button is pressed for a period of time, the microwave oven will go back to standby
mode. Also, when an operation has finished or is cancelled the microwave oven will return
to standby mode. In standby mode, the current time displays; if the clock has not been set,
0:00 displays.
Setting the timer
The timer counts down from 5 seconds to 95 minutes and sounds an alert when it reaches
zero. It does not start any cooking cycle after the countdown.
1. Press the Clock/Timer button twice. 00:00 appears and a beep sounds.
2. Rotate the -/+ knob to select the time from 00:05 to 95:00 (5 seconds to 95 minutes).
3. Press the Start/+30s button to confirm. The timer starts counting down.
4. Press the Stop/Cancel button to cancel the timer and return to standby mode.
