Grill rack / oven rack
The grill rack is designed for use when grilling food. It allows heat to circulate evenly around
the food. You can also use it to heat two dishes simultaneously. The grill rack must not be
used in microwave mode alone. It can be used in grill mode or in the combi function C3,
which uses the grill and the convection oven.
The oven rack is designed for use when baking or roasting food. It allows heat to circulate
evenly around the food.
1. Place the rack centrally onto the glass tray.
2. Then put the food (in a container) on top of the rack.
Other utensils (not provided)
• As a general rule, containers made out of ceramic, glass and heat-resistant plastic are
suitable for microwave cooking. Check that the container bears the indication “Suitable for
microwave oven use”.
• It is recommended that the food be covered by a steam cover or plastic wrap.
• Never use metal containers / trays / racks, aluminium foil, recycled paper products (they
may contain metal fragments) or kitchenware with metallic designs in the microwave oven,
and never leave a metal utensil inside the appliance. Only use microwave-safe containers.
For short cooking times, plastic or cardboard containers may be used, as well as frozen dishes
under plastic films, provided that these films have been pierced with a fork beforehand to
allow steam to escape. Do not use metal, cast iron or earthenware dishes with even minimal
metal parts (including silver or gold).
