4. Put the buffer back in the slots on the filter and then put the filter back in its housing on the
back of the unit until it “clicks” into place.
IMPORTANT: never use the unit without the filters
and buffer.
• If the unit is not used for a long time, please take out the buffer to let it dry or leave it in
place and use the fan function to dry it.
Emptying the water tank (7)
In case of prolonged non-use or if you do not wish to use the “Cool Air” function, you need
to drain the water tank in order to avoid the build-up of minerals and organic matter.
1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
2. Press the tab on the tank to release it, and then remove it from
its housing.
3. Press the tab to open the lid to the water tank (8) and remove it.
4. Drain the water into a sink.
5. Clean the water tank with a soft sponge and hot water and
washing-up liquid. Rinse with clean water and thoroughly dry
using a soft cloth.
6. Put the various parts back into their housings in the reverse
order.
Cleaning the tank filter (9)
Clean the tank filter every time you empty and clean the tank. Take out the guard surrounding
it and wash it in warm water. Then let it dry completely before reinserting it into its guard and
then into its housing.
Replacement filters and buffers are available from your retailer’s after-sales
service.
