Unpacking the microwave oven
WARNING! Do not remove the mica plate (wave guide) on the interior wall. It is an integral
part of the microwave oven’s cooking mechanism.
• Remove all packaging and accessories from inside and outside of the appliance and then
examine it carefully to see if there has been visible damage during shipping.
• If the appliance has suffered visible damage such as deformation of the door, do not use it
but contact your retail store's customer service department.
• Before using the microwave oven, clean the inside with a damp cloth.
Installing the appliance
Electrical installation
This microwave oven is fitted with an earthed
mains plug.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock if the earth
is not connected correctly. Before plugging
in your appliance, make sure that the electrical
voltage in your home matches that shown on the microwave
oven nameplate and that the power cable plug is suitable for the
power outlet.
• If it is necessary to use an extension lead, only use one that has three wires, one of which
is an earth.
• The appliance must be installed following the national rules on electrical installation. If you
have any questions about the electrical connection, please consult a qualified electrical
technician.
• Plug your microwave oven into a wall outlet equipped with an earth.
