If there is a power cut

• If the power outage only lasts a short time, the food inside the appliance will not be affected.

• However, do not open the door (the time it takes for the temperature to rise decreases significantly,

if the door is opened or when the appliance is nearly empty).

• If the outage is going to last longer, you should transfer the refrigerated or frozen food into

another fridge or freezer.

• As soon as you notice food products start to thaw, they should be consumed as soon as possible.

• Thawed products must never be refrozen (unless it has been cooked in the meantime).

Noises while in use

The following noises are typical of fridge/freezer type appliances:

• Clicking: When the compressor turns on or off, it makes a clicking sound.

• Whirring: As soon as the compressor is running, you hear it making a whirring sound.

• Gurgling/spluttering: When the refrigerant flows through the narrow tubes, gurgling and

spluttering can be heard. Even after the compressor has switched off, these noises can be heard

for a short time after.

Replacing the LED module (light)

WARNING: Do not attempt to replace the LED module yourself: Risk of electric shock! The LEDs

cannot be replaced by the user. Contact the after-sales service of your dealer for any work that

needs to be done on the light of the appliance.
