Attach the transparent media edge guide to the

spindle.

Attach it so that the gap between the roll core

and the media edge guide is approximately 10

mm (0.4 in.).

Place the spindle into the grooves with the

black media edge guide on the right.

Lower the spindle lock lever.

Press the pause/resume button, and then use

the take-up direction switch to select either

printed side in or printed side out.

After selecting the take-up direction, press the

pause/resume button.
