26 Maintaining Your Printer
When the P Power light stops flashing and the error and ink lights go
out, ink charging is finished.
10. Close the ink cover, then close the document cover.
Caution:
Never turn off the your Epson printer while ink is charging or you’ll waste ink. If the
error and ink lights remain on after the print head moves into its home
position, an ink cartridge may not be installed properly. Press the
y Stop button
again, and then press the ink cartridge down securely.
Note:
If you replaced a cartridge while copying a document or photo, cancel printing and
make sure your original is still placed correctly on the document table. Then copy
your original again.
If you remove a low or expended ink cartridge, you cannot reinstall and use the
cartridge.
