Safety Instructions and Warnings
Read the user manual before using the device.
Follow the safety instructions in the manual.
• Do not tamper with the structure of the socket.
• Do not use the socket if damaged.
• Do not interconnect two or more sockets.
• Only plug rubber cables with an IP44 plug into the socket.
• Do not exceed the socket’s maximum permitted load.
• Incorrect use may cause risk of re or injury by electric current.
• Pay attention to the information on the data plate/label of the appliances you connect to the device.
• Maximum input power of connected electrical appliances must not exceed 3,680 W (max. current 16 A). Max. inductive
load: 5.0 A.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental disability, or
lack of experience and expertise prevents safe use, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• Any use of the device not listed in the previous sections of the manual will result in damage to the product and could
present danger in the form of a short circuit, injury by electric current, etc. The device must not be modied or otherwise
restructured! Safety warnings must be followed unconditionally.

Device Description

Installing the Device
• To connect the smart socket to a mobile phone, you need the EMOS GoSmart app, which is available for download from
Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).
• Open EMOS GoSmart and conrm the privacy policy by tapping Agree.
• Sign up in the EMOS GoSmart app so that you can log in. If you already have an account in the app, log in using your
e-mail and password.
• Once you have logged in, open the menu of your Zigbee gateway. Then, tap Add new device at the bottom of the app.
Then tap Add new device again.
• Now, connect the smart Zigbee socket to power. Once it is plugged in, press and hold its ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
The button will start ashing rapidly and you will hear a click.
• Once you tap Add new device, your Zigbee gateway will start searching for new devices in the area. Once the Zigbee
gateway has found your socket, tap Done. Then tap Done again.
• You have successfully added your Zigbee socket to the app
Controls and Functions
Countdown Function
• The countdown function can be set in the EMOS GoSmart app by tapping the Programmes icon on the socket’s home
page at the bottom of the screen of your mobile device.
• Once you have opened the programme settings, choose Countdown from the top functions menu. To add a programme,
set the time for the countdown. Conrm the countdown by pressing the button at the bottom of the screen.
• If you want to select whether the socket should turn on or o after the set countdown runs out, simply turn the socket
on or o. If you turn the socket o, the socket will turn on after the countdown elapses. If you turn the socket on, the
socket will turn o after the countdown elapses. To cancel the countdown, tap the button in the Countdown tab.
Circulate Function
• The circulate function is a programme where you can set the start and end of its interval and set how long the socket
is to be turned on or o.
