Save energy
Here are some tips on how you can save energy.
• Ensure that you spin the laundry completely in the washing machine before drying. Use high spin speed to shorten the
drying time and save energy.
• Clean the lint filter and empty the water container after each use to avoid extension of drying time and increase of
energy consumption.
• Clean the filter regularly to decrease drying time and energy consumption. Lint accumulated on the filter will block the
air circulation.
• The dryer switches off automatically for energy saving. This is not an error but a normal function.
• Energy consumption per cycle will depend on how the product is used. The ECO programme, used for both full and
partial loads, is the drying standard programme that corresponds to the details in the label and technical
specifications. This programme is suitable for drying normal wet cotton laundry and it is the most energy efficient
programme for cotton.
• Load the tumble dryer to its maximum capacity for each programme to save energy.
Before first use
Run a drying cycle with minimal load
Before you use the dryer the first time, leave it to stand for at least two hours after transporting it.
1. Clean the inside of the drum with a soft cloth.
2. Put some clean rags into the drum.

Plug in the dryer into the socket and press .

Select the Refresh programme and press .
The final part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down cycle) to ensure that the items are left at a
temperature that ensures that the items will not be damaged.
5. After the programme has completed, remove the rags.

7. Empty the water container, see section "Empty the water container", page 27.
