Washing - ENGLISH 19
• Always adjust the amount of detergent to the water hardness. If your tap water is soft, use less detergent.
• Use a reduced detergent amount if the drum is not filled completely.
• Highly concentrated (compact detergent) requires particularly accurate dosing.
Signs of detergent overdosing:
• heavy foam formation,
• poor washing and rinsing result.
Signs of detergent underdosing:
• laundry turns grey,
• build-up of limescale deposits on the drum, the heating element and/or the laundry.
Options, settings and functions
Child lock
Prevents accidental use of the machine. See section "Use the child lock", page 14.
Delay
Delays the start of the washing programme by a specified amount of time. Maximum delay time is 24
hours. See section "Use the Delay option", page 20.
Extra rinse, Pre-wash
• Extra rinse: Gives the laundry an extra rinse.
• Pre-wash: Gives the laundry an extra wash before the main wash. This helps to bring dirt to the
surface of the clothes.

Mute / unmute
Mutes and unmutes the acoustic signal. See section "Mute and unmute the acoustic signal", page 21.
My Cycle
Saves your favourite combination of drying programme and options. See section "Use the My cycle

Stain master
Gives stained laundry extra treatment depending on the type of scenario where the laundry was stained.
There are 5 scenarios to select from:
• Food
• Drinks
• Sports & Fitness
• Outdoor & Workers
• Health & Beauty

Spin speed
Adjusts the spin speed. See section "Change the spin speed", page 20.
Speed wash
