CAUTION!
• Before washing laundry items the first time, run the Drum clean programme with a temperature of 90 °C
without any laundry, detergent, or softener in the machine.
NOTE!
If the machine loses power during operation, a memory saves the selected programme. When power is
restored, the machine resumes the programme.
Safety during maintenance
WARNING!
• Only authorised technicians may carry out repairs.
• If you experience problems with the product that the troubleshooting information in the complete manual
cannot help you solve, turn off the product, unplug it from the power supply, turn off the water supply,
and contact our support and service.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids to avoid damaging the product.
WARNING!
• Turn off the power supply and the water supply to the product before performing any maintenance.
• During operation, there may be hot water in the drain pump. Never remove the pump cover during a
washing cycle, always wait until the product has finished the cycle and all water has been drained.
CAUTION!
• Do not use solvents, alcohol, products containing formic acid, abrasive cleaners, glass cleaners or
all-purpose cleaners to clean this product. Plastic surfaces and other parts may become damaged.
• Wear gloves when cleaning the product.
• There is a risk for water leakage if the pump cover is not properly reinstalled after cleaning of the drain
pump filter.
• Never use abrasive or caustic agents. formic acids or its diluted solvents or similar substances, like
alcohol or chemical products.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-friendly manner. Recycling packaging, while observing national
and local regulations, can reduce the consumption of raw materials and the amount of waste in landfill
sites.
This product is marked in compliance with European Directive 2012/19/EU, Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE). The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product must not be
treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
