Detergent dosage
Using the proper amount of detergent will improve the washing result.
• Before pouring agglomerating or thick detergent or additive into the detergent dispenser, it can be diluted with water
to prevent blockage of the inlet and potential water overflow.
• Use the most suitable type of detergent according to the recommendations to get a maximum of washing
performance and a minimum of water and energy consumption.
• Dose according to how dirty your laundry is, less dirty clothes require less detergent.
• Always adjust the amount of detergent to the water hardness. If your tap water is soft, use less detergent.
• Use a reduced detergent amount if the drum is not filled completely.
• Highly concentrated (compact detergent) requires particularly accurate dosing.
Signs of detergent overdosing:
• heavy foam formation,
• poor washing and rinsing result.
Signs of detergent underdosing:
• laundry turns grey,
• build-up of limescale deposits on the drum, the heating element and/or the laundry.
Drying recommendations
WARNING!
Do not wash or dry articles that have been cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or dabbed with combustible or
explosive substances, such as wax, oil, paint, gasoline, degreasers, dry cleaning solvents, kerosene, etc. This
may result in fire or explosion.
• Check the clothing care labels to help you select a suitable programme.
• Clothes can be dried after spinning.
• Sort your laundry by fabric type (such as cotton, synthetic) and desired drying temperature.
• Let your dried clothes cool down slightly before ironing.
Do not dry the following items in the machine. Consider air-drying or hand-washing to preserve their quality:
• Delicate items like synthetic curtains, nylon stockings, woolen, silk, or clothes with metal inserts
• Bulky items such as anoraks, bedcovers, quilts, sleeping bags, and duvets.
• Items containing foam rubber (such as latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, and
clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be washed, spun or dried in the machine.
